A Day in the life of a Winchester student

Daily life for a university student at the moment is very different to what it has been in the past. As we head towards a little bit more of normality, it is a great time to start thinking about signing up for university and what better place to study than Winchester!

Winchester is a city located in the South of England, surrounded by beautiful countryside and a short train journey away from the picturesque south coast. Although smaller than its other southern counterparts, don’t let this put you off as there is plenty to do in this wonderful city!

Start your morning by taking a leisurely walk-through town to campus. The streets are lined with independent coffee shops, bistros and bakeries. When in Winchester Josie’s is an absolute must!

After attending lectures, St Catherine’s Hill is a great outdoor space for you to relax with friends, have a picnic or even enjoy a few drinks and watch the sun set in the afternoon. On your way back to town, stop and take in the spectacular views of Winchester Cathedral. At Christmas time this area turns into a winter wonderland.

Return to your student accommodation, Cathedral Point, located at the heart of this vibrant city. Join your housemates in the common room and unwind at one of our weekly social events. Grab a couple of drinks kindly gifted by some of the many companies we work with who make these events possible.

At the end of the night, enjoy some drinks with your flatmates in your spacious modern kitchen area and then return to your en suite for a good night sleep ready to do it all again tomorrow!
